About

Read "What is Kamaboko?"

INOUE KAMABOKO TEN was founded in 1931 on the Yuigahama street of Kamakura.  That street was very busy with visitors to Hasedera temple and The Great Buddha.  Many modern villas of the noble families were built and a movie theater was there.  Yuigahama was the downtown of Kamakura those days.

Even though a long time has passed, we still take the method at the time of the establishment.  We don't use any preservative nor other food-additives.  We are proud INOUE's Kamaboko has the natural flavor that is made by the skilled craftsmen.

Besides the head office on the Yuigahama St., our stores stand on the Wakamiya St. near Kamakura Sta. (East) and Komachi St.  We are looking forward to your visit when you come to Kamakura.

Also, we are offering some lite-dishes with our Kamaboko products and Japanese dessert-sets such as Anmitsu, Shiruko etc. on the 2nd floor of our Kamakura store.  It's named "茶寮 (Saryo, tea house) INOUE".  It would be a good choice to take a break enjoying Kamaboko or some Japanese traditional sweets.

See you at INOUE KAMABOKO TEN!
